ABOUT US
IOD's physical computational infrastructure consists of a multi-platform array of servers, providing
email, file, and other network services. The infrastructure team maintains the integrity of these
servers and provides user support for both network and local resources.

CIS SERVICES
Email Services: All CIS users are provided with an email account, which may be accessed
through POP3 and IMAP clients and through webmail.
File Services: All CIS users are provided with a network home directory, which provides
a small amount of storage space and the ability to transfer files within the CIS network. Additional space is
available on our file servers for larger projects; for more information contact
Jerry Wanetick. Personal FTP space
is also available to CIS users on request.
Web Services: Hosting and design services are avilable for project web site and web-based
applications. Personal web space for CIS users is available on request.
Printing Services: Access to high quality shared color printers is available to all CIS participants in
CIS supported buildings at SIO, including: CCS building, Hubbs, Sverdrup, and Ritter halls. For printing documentation and driver installation,

IOD Email Client Setup:

mail forwarding, and configure your IOD email.
